02 JAN DROP · BRAIN GLITCH : ADHD This project visualizes the modern mind through abstract, geometric graphics.Layered colors, distorted flows, and shifting forms represent emotional states, attention patterns, and mental noise experienced in contemporary life. Inspired by ADHD as a concept — not a diagnosis —this series asks a simple question:If your mind were visible, what would it look like? Each composition reflects a different cognitive mood, inviting viewers to see their inner chaos, focus, or curiosity as visual form.

OpenLab Graphics — Official Design Drop MARCH DROP · OBJECT : KOREAN ARCHIVE This project explores foundational Korean architectural and material motifs as contemporary abstraction.Traditional forms are reduced to structure, surface, and symbol —reframed for modern Western interiors through discipline and geometry.   창호 | CHANG HO [chahng-ho] Structure · Balance · Order The architecture of balance.A study of proportion, repetition, and quiet order.   Historical Function Chang Ho was developed to diffuse daylight, maintain privacy, and allow airflow in traditional Korean homes. The wooden lattice provided structural stability, while paper panels softened direct light. Spatial Energy Softened light reduces visual stress and creates a calmer interior atmosphere. The grid structure introduces rhythm and order, which the human mind naturally reads as stability. What was engineered for climate control became a source of psychological balance —a quiet architecture that feels grounded and composed.

Spatial Energy Clear structural protection creates a subconscious sense of safety. The repeated curves form visual rhythm — and rhythm brings continuity. Protection, when visibly expressed, allows a space to feel secure and steady.

Spatial Energy Ink reveals concentration — the balance between control and gravity. Its depth absorbs light rather than reflecting it. This visual weight anchors a room, creating stillness through material density.

Spatial Energy A visible mark of authorship introduces intention into a space.Completion creates psychological clarity. When a mark declares “this is finished,”the environment feels resolved rather than unsettled.

Traditional forms are reduced to volume, light, and symbol — reframed for modern interiors through stillness and intention.   달항아리 · 자개 | DAL HANG-ARI · JAGAE Moon Jar · Mother of Pearl [dahl hang-ah-ree · jah-gae] Abundance · Wholeness · Fortune · Protection A vessel that holds nothing — and everything. Rendered in the light of jagae — reinterpreted as a field of eternal presence for the wall. Historical Function The Moon Jar was crafted in Joseon-era Korea as an offering vessel — its imperfect roundness believed to invite warmth, abundance, and good fortune into the home. No two were made alike. 자개 | Jagae — Mother of Pearl For centuries, jagae has adorned the most sacred objects in Korean culture — royal furniture, ceremonial vessels, objects passed between generations. Its iridescent surface was believed to carry three powers: to attract wealth and prosperity, to preserve what matters across time, and to repel negative energy from the home. It was never decorative. It was intentional. What It Brings A full round form. A surface built from light. In Korean tradition, this combination is an invitation — for abundance, for protection, for something good to arrive and stay. Spatial Energy The jar asks nothing of the room. It simply holds space — the way light does, the way silence does. A presence that settles rather than demands.   About the Artist Designed by Seung Lee — one of OpenLab's featured artists working at the intersection of Korean and Oriental tradition and the modern American home. Seung's work begins with objects that have been carried across centuries — vessels, symbols, forms. He strips them of nostalgia and rebuilds them as something you'd want on your wall today. Not a museum piece. Not a souvenir. A reinterpretation that belongs exactly where it lands.

SHXT HAPPENS Wit. Honesty. Release. A balloon dog caught mid-act — and an admission we've all been waiting to hang on a wall. SHXT HAPPENS takes a childhood icon and gives it a grown-up punchline. Rendered in bold graphic black with hand-lettered truth, this piece doesn't perform. It just says the quiet part out loud — with charm. No irony. No over-explanation. Just the kind of honest that makes a room feel like it has a sense of humor. On Your Wall The piece that stops guests mid-sentence. Works anywhere that takes life seriously enough to laugh at it — a home office, a living room, a space that's earned the right to say and that's ok.
